Kenza Haddock, MA, LPC, NCC, CCTP

Clinical Director


Kenza Haddock is the Clinical Director at Oceanic Counseling. Kenza received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University. She is a National Certified Counselor by the National Certified Counselors and Affiliates (NBCC). As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Kenza has extensive training Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and trauma-related issues. Kenza is trained in the EMDR process to help trauma victims conquer their fears and anxieties. She was also recently a member of the National Christian Counselors Association.

Bonnie Appi, MSW, LISW-CP

Bonnie is a Licensed Social Worker who provides valuable, client-centered therapy to those who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, family relationship struggles, and marital strain. Rather than adopt a one-size-fits-all methodology, she draws from a variety of techniques to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. She cooperatively assists her clients in clarifying their goals for treatment because when people have hope and safety, they learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes to experience change…that’s when healing happens.

Melissa Johansen, MSW, LCSW-C, LISW-CP, CCTP

Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses a client centered therapeutic approach with both children and adults. Her experience includes Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder and Schizophrenia. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches/techniques on a individual basis driven by the client. She holds a Clinical Trauma Therapist Certification, has a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Certificate in Mindfulness for kids and teens with ADHD, trauma, anxiety and emotional regulation. She also used play therapy approaches to assist in with children (adults too) to feel less pressured and stressed throughout session.

Suzi Kraus, MSW, LISW-CP

Suzi is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-CP) with over 25 years experience. Being compassionate, Suzi provides an atmosphere of acceptance and safety while she facilitates the client exploring their behavior, actions and patterns.
She has expertise in bereavement, grief, trauma, life transitions, anxiety and alcohol or substance use disorder.

After assessing an individual’s needs, Suzi will create a custom approach pulling from her extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Sensory Integration, and Mindfulness Practices to improve her clients wellbeing. Suzi’s passion is to assist her client’s in building solutions to cope, prosper and enjoy life.

Dr. Angel Corbin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. She received her Doctoral Degree in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Webster University. She is a National Certified Counselor by the National Certified Counselors and Affiliates (NBCC). Her therapeutic approach is multifaceted and draws from Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Her background includes experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults in individual, couples, and family counseling. She works with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for anxiety, depression, work and career issues, marital conflict, stress management, addiction and recovery, grief counseling, and beyond. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, she offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each of her clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth they are striving for. Jameion Fowler, MSW, LISW-CP

Jameion has been a resident of Horry County for most of his life. He graduated from the University of South Carolina-Columbia in 2014 with a Masters of Social Work and immediately began clinical work.

He has training in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and provides individual counseling, family therapy, and couples counseling. He has previously worked for Waccamaw Center for Mental Health, the Horry County Drug Court Program and Justice Works Behavioral Care, and his experience also includes substance use counseling!

Kacee Cleveland, MA, LPC

Kacee Cleveland is a Licensed Professional Counselor who utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other techniques to help individuals move past hurt and into their healing. Kacee obtained a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She has gained her clinical experience working in community based treatment and outpatient facilities by providing therapy for children, young adults, adults, couples, and families. Most of her experience is in the areas of trauma, co-occurring disorders, attachment issues, mental health disorders, depression, anxiety, family issues, ADHD, anger, and PTSD. Kacee uses an eclectic approach to meet the specific need of each individual and her goal is to provide a warm, compassionate and caring therapeutic environment.

Thais received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Barry University in Florida. Thais is a Board-Certified Social Worker by the National Association of Social Workers. Thais is clinically licensed and provides services to children, teenagers, and adults. Thais’ approaches are client driven but she specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. John Falls, MA, LPC

John is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who graduated from Francis Marion University with a Master’s of Science in Applied Clinical Psychology. His training is solidly grounded in psychology with an extensive base of empirical knowledge for treating mental and behavioral health problems. This has equipped him to assess, diagnose and treat severe forms of psychopathology. He has experience working in a variety of settings including substance abuse clinics, acute inpatient psychiatric hospitals and outpatient counseling, and has experience in individual, couples, and group therapy. He has worked with a diverse population of clients from adolescents to geriatrics and has experience treating disorders ranging from depression and anxiety to bipolar disorder, personality disorders, gender/LGBTQ issues, ADHD, and grief.

Martika Hubbard, LMFT

Martika is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She completed her graduate studies at the University of San Diego. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families. Martika uses a strength-based approach that integrates physical and mental health. She uses narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and solution-focused therapy along with skill-focused modalities such as CBT and DBT.

Maureen Hopkins

Maureen is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-CP). She is a seasoned clinician with over 30 years of experience in the field. Maureen received her Master of Social Work from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her experience includes providing mental health services to individuals whose ages range from late adolescence to seniors. Maureen brings experience, compassion, and dedication to help her clients cope with and address interpersonal difficulties, behavioral issues including alcohol and drug problems, self-image issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss issues as well as chronic mental illness including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
