She has experience working with children and adolescents who have a history of trauma, anxiety and depression , as well as adults managing life transition difficulties, relationship challenges and their own history of trauma.
She is trained to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing as well as other evidence-based therapeutic approaches. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Clemson University and then went on to pursue an Education Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of South Carolina. Jessica uses CBT and trauma-focused therapeutic tools and interventions to consider how your past or present experiences are contributing to the symptoms you are experiencing today.
